A Boxing Day fell event at Stiperstones Inn near Minsterley, covering 4.8 km with 244 m climb. Partially marked course with limited experience required; online entries for recorded times and proceeds go to Severn Hospice.

Trail runs along the Mortimer Trail between Ludlow and Kington on Sunday 27 December 2026. Two distances are offered: an around 30 mile multi terrain ultra and a half that follows the final section starting at Riverside Inn, Aymestrey.

A downhill fell race of 4 km from Moel Famau summit to Cilcain with about 350 m descent. The route is partially marked, for competitors over 16, and is insured by the WFRA; donations are collected at the White Horse in Cilcain.

A 7-mile New Year's Eve fell race from The Little Tea Room in Rivington with a live bagpiper send-off, a pint and pie for finishers, and a post-race prize presentation and party at The Crown Pub in Horwich.
