Race for Life Pretty Muddy Leicester

Leicester Pretty Muddy 5k : Braunstone Park, 15 May 2027

The event is a Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course set in Braunstone Park, Goodings Avenue, Leicester (LE3 1EF). The route is a circular loop around the park grounds, with a mixture of grass and path. The start and finish are on grass and the course offers park views; the published course map is subject to change.

The course includes obstacles that involve climbing, crawling and sliding. Start times are organised in staggered waves every 15 minutes; groups are asked to book the same wave. Marshals are present on the course and can assist participants who need to skip an obstacle. Participants must be 13 years of age or older; there are separate Pretty Muddy Kids events for younger children.

Practical information: the meeting point is the large field next to Winstanley House, where a stage is used for warm-ups and course instructions. Event parking is limited and weather dependent; parking is on grass and may be unsuitable in poor weather. Blue Badge parking is available about 100 m from the event site. There are no electric vehicle charging points or bike racks. Facilities listed as available include refreshments, toilets and parking. The event is not wheelchair accessible. Dogs are not allowed. The minimum fundraising target is £50. Earlybird entry prices shown are £11.24 for adults and £6.00 for children.
