Carsington 7+
The Carsington 7+ is a 7.5 mile full clockwise circuit of Carsington Reservoir. The route runs around the reservoir and offers views across the water and the Derbyshire countryside. The event is licensed to the Association of Running Clubs and forms part of the RunDerby Race Series. The official headline charity is Derby & District RSPCA.
Entrants must be 16 years and over. All finishers receive a bespoke medal. Technical t-shirts are available for purchase when entering, and event t-shirts may be collected on race morning. Race packs can be collected on the day at no extra charge or posted in the week before the race for a fee of £2.00.
Online entry fees for 2027 are shown as £20.50 for ARC/UKA affiliated individual entries and £22.50 for unaffiliated individual entries; fees include a Severn Trent Water participation fee and are non-refundable. The event applies a £2.00 discount for runners who hold an active Unique Runners Number and are both ARC and UKA affiliated. The individual race limit is 650 entrants and no entries are accepted on the day. The closing date for entries is Thursday 6th May 2027 at 11pm or when the race is full. Transfer requests are processed during a defined window in April with an administration fee of £3.00 plus any applicable unaffiliated fee.
