Trail Running calendar near Methley 2026-2027

A 50 mile figure of eight route around north Leeds with two loops starting and finishing at St Andrews Roundhay United Reformed Church. The course visits Temple Newsam, Meanwood Valley, Harewood Estate and includes mandatory winter kit requ..

A reversed half marathon route in the North York Moors starting and finishing at Levisham Village Hall, passing through the Hole of Horcum. Limited to 50 runners, with two checkpoints, a five hour limit and mandatory safety kit.

A 50 miles trail ultramarathon near Chester on 27 February 2027, covering 849 m of ascent with seven checkpoints and live GPS tracking. The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and has a 17 hour cut off.

Trail runs at Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Water Garden on 28 February 2027 offer 5km, 10km and half marathon distances with live chip timing. Canicross is allowed and finishers receive a medal, merchandise, snack and drink.

A fully tracked 30 mile trail event in Morland near Penrith on 6 March 2027, with mixed off road terrain, about 3000 ft of ascent and four checkpoints. Walkers are welcome and a 12 hour time limit is provided.

Experience a classic 15 km fell race through the South West Pennines. Starting from Barley Village Hall, this event features 545 meters of ascent and requires navigation skills for all participants.
