Trail Running calendar near Little Haywood 2026-2027

A 6.2-mile fell race around Penistone Hill Country Park and Top Withins, part of the Woodentops Race Series with chip timing. Junior races include Curly Wurly goody bags and Halloween fancy dress prizes.

Rip n Run XL in Wadsworth offers a 40 mile route with 5,800 ft elevation and an 80 mile double option with 28 hours to finish. Four checkpoints, indoor facilities at two stops, and hot food at HQ support runners.

Trail races at Loggerheads Copuntry Park with a 6km loop, a 12km two-lap option and a 6km Canicross. Courses are marked and marshalled and entry fees range from £19 to £22.

A three hour score fell race in Edale on 18 October 2026 where individuals or pairs choose their own routes to visit controls and score points. Navigation skills and FRA mandatory kit are required.
