Tissington Trail Half Marathon and 10k Weekend
The Tissington Trail January Half Marathon and 10k Weekend is a multi-terrain running event held in Ashbourne, Derbyshire. The course follows the Tissington Trail, which is a traffic-free route situated on the former railway line connecting Ashbourne to Buxton. Participants can choose to compete on either Saturday or Sunday, or participate on both days of the weekend.

The route is characterized by its natural surroundings, offering views over the Derbyshire Dales. The course profile features a gentle uphill gradient on the outbound section and a slight downhill gradient for the return leg heading toward the finish.
