Dirt Run Irchester Country Park - Round 1
This event is Round 1 of the Dirt Run Winter Trail Series, held at Irchester Country Park on Sunday 24 January 2027. The course uses the event's uphill format and runs in the opposite direction to 2025.
The route is a varied multi‑terrain course through Jurassic landscape with trails, climbs and muddy sections. For the longer distances an additional trail section is included on later laps to add variety.
Distances:
- 5K - 1 lap
- 10K - 2 laps
- 15K - 3 laps
All runners start together. Runners may switch distance on the day at registration; upgrades require cash payment. Trail shoes are strongly recommended.
Participants receive a custom finisher medal for the round; each round has a different medal design and ribbon colour that indicates distance. Toilets are available at the venue. Parking is available at the country park locations; attendees should check the park websites for current charges and bring cash where required.
