The Half & Half

The Half & Half is a 10 km race that combines two distinct surfaces in a single, one-way course. The first half takes place on rugged, muddy trails with natural obstacles. The second half returns on tarmac road for a smoother finish. The course will be fully marked in one direction and entries are capped at 100 runners.

The event offers both individual and relay entry options. Entry prices on the source listing range from £20 to £30. A finisher medal is included with the event. An official event hoodie can be pre-ordered from 5 November for £27; pre-order is required and hoodie orders are accepted until 10 January.

Location details list Sowerby Bridge Pool on Station Road, Sowerby Bridge, Halifax HX6 3AB. Sowerby Bridge Station is about a five minute walk to registration. Parking is available nearby, including along Station Road.

The description focuses on course layout, participant limits, memento options, and local access information so participants can anticipate terrain, available entry formats, and basic logistics. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
