The Half & Half : Sowerby Bridge, 24 January 2027

The Half & Half is a single 10 km race that combines two types of terrain on a one-way, fully marked course. The route starts on trail terrain and then returns on road to the finish at Sowerby Bridge Pool on Station Road, Halifax HX6 3AB.

The first half of the course runs over rugged, muddy trails with natural obstacles and varied footing. The second half is on tarmac, offering smoother running surfaces for the return to the finish. The course is marked in one direction to reduce navigation demands for participants.

Entrant numbers are capped at 100. The event is open to entrants aged 18 and over on 24 January 2027. The listed entry price is £20.00.

This event does not include a medal or T-shirt. Instead, an official Half & Half hoodie is available to pre-order as a keepsake. Hoodies are available from 5 November at a price of £27.00. Pre-order is required; hoodies will not be available to purchase at the finish line. Hoodie orders can be placed up to 10 January.
