Join Its Grim Up North Running at Cromwell Bottom Nature Reserve on 23 July 2026 for a friendly 5k or 10k Summer Series run. Free parking and evening or on the day registration, with a medal, hot food and a drink for every finisher.

A **54 km** circular ultra around the Yorkshire Wolds starting and finishing at Pocklington, passing six villages and featuring live GPS tracking, four indoor checkpoints with vegan friendly nutrition, and an overall 12 hour cut-off.

Join Skipton's Rock up n' Run on 30 July 2026 for a lively evening 5k or 10k on road and trail as part of a pop up Summer Series. Turn up on the night, grab a jumble medal and enjoy hot food and a beer or soft drink.

August 2026

Women-only 50k ultramarathon from Wadsworth Community Centre in Hebden Bridge. A marked circular route across woodland and moorland with about 1400 m ascent, four vegan-friendly checkpoints and a 10 hour cutoff.

A 37 mile loop through the North Pennines AONB starting and finishing in Allendale. Solo and three person relay options, about 4800 ft ascent, waymarked self navigation with checkpoints, downloadable map and GPX available.

A 36 miles ultra along the Esk Valley Way from Castleton to Whitby Harbour with full GPS tracking, five checkpoints and route support. Entries limited to 100 and minimum age 20.

A 24 mile walk or run on footpaths around Calderdale, starting and finishing at Heath Rugby Club near Halifax, with checkpoints, refreshments and a finish meal; discounted entry for LDWA members and a certificate for finishers.

Take on Farleton Knott near Kendal on Sunday 2 August 2026, a short but steep 4.2 km fell race with big climbs and great views. Hosted on Dallam Tower Estate and counting for BOFRA, it offers junior and senior races.

Join the Round Hill fell race for a challenging 14.1 km course with sweeping York Dales views, starting and finishing in charming Timble village. Entry is on the day for a small fee and part of the proceeds support brain tumour research.

Tackle the Trunce 7 fell race in the Peak District, a punchy 3.9 mile course with about 190 m of climb and great views. Entry on the day keeps it friendly and there is a junior over 10 race, ideal for families and club runners.
