Entry, rules and facilities

Pre-entry and entry on the day are both available. Published fees are: pre-entry £6.00 (members) and £7.00 (non-members); entry on the day £8.00 (members) and £10.00 (non-members). Minimum age is 16. Teams are allowed with three to count for team scoring for men and for women. Competitors are asked to carry full FRA kit as listed: waterproof jacket with hood, waterproof trousers, hat, gloves, compass, whistle, map and emergency food. The event holds a permit and associated UK Athletics insurance from the FRA. Recorded course times from 2021 are 00:32:01 for the male course record and 00:36:31 for the female course record.
