The Booze Run is a fell race held on Sunday 28 December 2025 in Langthwaite, Arkengarthdale, in the Yorkshire Dales. The course is listed as about 9 km (5.6 miles) with 280 m of climb. Entry and logistics
Pre-entry and entry on the day are available. The entry fee is £8.00. Entrants must be at least 17 years old by 31 December 2025. The race carries a permit and associated UK Athletics insurance from the FRA.
On-course features and rules
Competitors can expect a checkpoint offering refreshments, including mince pies, and a second mince pie at the finish. The Red Lion will be open for hot and cold drinks. A small prize will be presented to the first male/overall and first female finisher. Runners are asked to follow FRA kit requirements: waterproof body cover, hat, gloves, a map, compass, whistle and emergency food must be carried regardless of the weather.
Practical information
