Take on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Ultra from Hawes Market House in September with 70 km or 100 km options across Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen y Ghent. Limited to 120 runners, it combines epic scenery with solid on course support.

Take on the Pen Y Ghent Ultra, a 50 km mountain trail through the Yorkshire Dales with a climb to Pen Y Ghent and sweeping moorland views. Supported aid stations, race HQ comforts and limited entries make this an autumn must do.

Celebrate the 40th anniversary of the High Peak 40, a scenic 40 mile ultramarathon around Buxton on 19 September 2026. Trails and roads combine for a classic challenge for experienced runners seeking a memorable autumn test.

Oktoberfest Running by Grim Up North hits the Leeds and Liverpool Canal at Rodley for chip timed races on a flat towpath, with distances from 5K to Ultra. Finishers get a medal and post race treats in a fun, friendly atmosphere.

Hardmoors 60 is a rugged 63 mile ultramarathon along the Cleveland Way, tracing dramatic Yorkshire coast scenery from Guisborough to Filey. Limited entries for solo runners and relay teams, with an 18 hour time limit and tracker for safety.

Experience classic Lake District trails at the Maverick Lakes X Trail on 19 September 2026 in Grasmere, with routes from 9 km up to a challenging 52 km ultra up to Stickle Tarn and Fairfield Horseshoe. Proceeds support Fix the Fells.
