Punk Panther Wharfedale Skyline

Punk Panther Wharfedale Skyline is a trail running event on routes that closely hug the hills around Otley, Ilkley and Guiseley. The course passes notable features such as Otley Chevin Surprise View, the Cow and Calf Rocks in Ilkley, and Lindley Wood Reservoir. Distances span from half marathon length up to ultramarathon.

Minimum age for participation is 18 and the event entry is capped at 200 participants. All ultramarathon entrants are supplied with a tracker; half marathon and 20 mile entrants can hire a tracker for a fee. Checkpoints and timing points are placed on the course; checkpoints provide water, cola, energy bars and crisps with vegan and gluten free options.

Provisional GPX files and a route description are provided before the event and a final route version will be emailed to competitors with final instructions. Routes will be taped, but participants are responsible for their own navigation. A mandatory kit list applies to all distances and random kit checks may take place on course. Every finisher receives a medal and an event T shirt unless they opt out. Dogs are permitted subject to event rules. Safety support runners are allowed.
