Punk Panther Wharfedale Skyline is a trail running event on 14 November 2026 around the Wharfedale skyline near Otley, Ilkley and Guiseley in West Yorkshire. Distances offered are:

Entry fees include an ultramarathon fee of £55 (increasing to £70 from 01/01/2026), 20-mile fee £35 (increasing to £38), and half-marathon fee £30 (increasing to £32.50).

Course and logistics

The route passes Otley Chevin - Surprise View, Cow and Calf Rocks in Ilkley, and Lindley Wood Reservoir. Provisional GPX files and a route description are available from the event page; a final GPX and final competitor instructions will be emailed before the event. Checkpoints and timing points are placed on the course; checkpoints provide water, coke, energy bars and crisps with vegan and gluten-free options. All ultramarathon entrants are supplied with a tracker; half-marathon and 20-mile runners may hire a tracker for £15. The tracker shows live position and has an emergency button that, if pressed in range, ends the runner’s race. A compulsory kit list applies to all distances and random kit checks may be carried out on course. Parking and registration locations are provided in event information. Too Cool for Pule is a lively 5.8 mile trail race around Marsden, taking in reservoirs, hilltop views and proper fell terrain. Expect climbs and boggy sections, then a friendly finish at Marsden Cricket Club with food, a bar and prizes.

Run scenic looped trails around historic Kirkstall Abbey, following riverside paths, woodlands and towpaths with distances from 8.8 miles up to an ultra. Expect varied terrain, friendly marshals, feed stations and a bespoke finisher medal.
