Punk Panther Wharfedale Skyline takes place on Saturday 14 November 2026 and is organised by Punk Panther Ultra Marathons. The route runs around the hills near Otley, Ilkley and Guiseley in West Yorkshire. Entry is open to participants aged 18 or older. Entries open 16 November 2025 and close 1 November 2026. Maximum field is 200 entrants; there were 9 participants registered at the time of the listing. The race is the tenth event in the Punk Panther series.

  • 13 miles - climb 1,700 ft, ITRA 1, UTMB Q20K
  • 20 miles - climb 2,800 ft, ITRA 1, UTMB Q20K
  • 35 miles - climb 4,800 ft, ITRA 2, UTMB Q50K

Entry fees are listed by distance and include stepped increases from 01/01/2026. Finishers receive a medal and an event T-shirt. Hot food, hot drinks and snacks are available at the finish, with vegan and gluten-free options.

Course, logistics and requirements

The route features landmarks such as Otley Chevin’s Surprise View, the Cow and Calf Rocks in Ilkley, and Lindley Wood Reservoir. Provisional GPX files and a route description are available from the event page; the final GPX and final race instructions will be emailed to competitors before the event. Routes will be taped, but participants are advised not to rely solely on tape for navigation.

Registration is at Otley Cricket Club, Cross Green, Otley LS21 1RB. Event parking is in the designated event car park at the end of Bremner Street off the A659, LS21 1JD. Toilets are provided at registration.

All ultramarathon entrants are supplied with a tracker; half marathon and 20-mile runners can hire a tracker for £15. Checkpoints and timing points are located on the course; failure to pass timing points may incur penalties or disqualification.
