Punk Panther Wharfedale Skyline

Punk Panther Wharfedale Skyline is a trail running event on 14 November 2026 that uses routes around Otley, Ilkley and Guiseley, including Otley Chevin, Cow and Calf Rocks and Lindley Wood Reservoir. The event offers multiple distances with substantial ascent and provides marked routes and route files.

Distances offered:

• 13 miles, 1700 ft climb, ITRA 1, UTMB Q20K
• 20 miles, 2800 ft climb, ITRA 1, UTMB Q20K
• 35 miles, 4800 ft climb, ITRA 2, UTMB Q50K

Entries open 16 November 2025 and close 1 November 2026. The event has a maximum of 200 entrants and a minimum age of 18. All ultramarathon entrants receive a supplied tracker; half marathon and 20-mile entrants can hire a tracker for a fee. Checkpoints and timing points are used on the course; checkpoints provide water, coke, energy bars and vegan and gluten-free options.

Organisers will tape, flag and sign routes but advise not to rely solely on tape. Provisional GPX files and a route description are provided and a final version will be issued with competitor instructions. Competitors must carry a minimum kit at all distances; random kit checks will be carried out and failure to carry required items can result in disqualification. Dogs and safety support runners are permitted subject to event rules. Finishers receive a medal and an event T-shirt unless they opt out.
