The Tor Mile is a fell running event organised by Ramsbottom Running Club on Monday 29 June 2026 in Helmshore. It features a junior race and the Tor Mile Fell Race with registration at The Loom Cafe & Bar.

A five-mile multi-terrain race around Manchester Airport Runway 2, featuring the Bollin Tunnel and a start at Wood Lane, Mobberley. Proceeds go to MNDA and the event currently operates a waiting list.

A 10 km trail race through Stalybridge Country Park and local moorland. Finishers receive a local chip muffin voucher for completing this event organized by Crazy Legs Events.

A chip timed cross country run at Burghley House in Stamford with a double lap 10k course on grass and paths. The event has a minimum age of 16, published entry fees and a minimum fundraising target.

An evening trail race in Shirtcliffe Woods organised by Handsworth Roadhogs, run over two laps totalling 5.25 miles (8.5 km). Entry is online only with fees of £6 for UKA affiliated and £8 for unaffiliated runners.

July 2026

Cragg Vale on 1 July 2026 is a 4 miles (6.4 km) fell race with 244 m of climb run from the village near Cragg Vale Church. Entry on the day is £8 cash and registration and refreshments are based at Cragg Church.

Take on the Hope Wakes Fell Race on 1 July 2026: a scenic 9.5 km Peak District route with 458 m of climb, starting and finishing at Hope Sportsfield. On the day entry is £8 and all profits go to local charities.

Race 2 of the Bramhall Runners Foodbank series is a 5.5 km event through Happy Valley in Bramhall, with limited online entries and proceeds donated to Stockport Foodbank. UKA members receive a discount and series entries are available.

A series of four two hour score races around Hartington in the Peak District using the MapRun app. Competitors choose their own route, score points at 40 controls and incur time penalties; printed maps and a PDF option are offered.

A 4 miles hill race around Winster on 2 July 2026 through lanes, trails and fields with marshals and partial tape marking. Online pre-entry is £5, on the night entry is £8 and entries are limited to 200.

An approximately four mile multi terrain race on 2 July 2026, starting and finishing at Care & Repair on Rowley’s Drive in Shotton. Entry is £10 or £8 for affiliated club members and prizes are given across all age categories.

A guided trail running weekend in the Peak District with bunkhouse accommodation, a 23 mile Edale Skyline route and an optional 10 km loop the next day. The terrain is rugged and a good level of fitness is required.

A point-to-point half marathon along canal towpaths from Wolverhampton to Brindley Place in Birmingham, run in seeded time trial waves. The course features a 360 metre tunnel and floating drink stations on canal barges every three miles.

July the Turd is a run offering 8 miles, 16 miles and a full marathon around the Ironbridge valley. The route mixes tracks, paths and road and the event finishes at The Unicorn Inn with parking on site and finisher bling.

Take on the Fellrunner at Heptonstall Festival, a scenic 9.5 km fell race with about 500 m of climb in the South West Pennines. Finish to live music, food stalls and a free pint; entry on the day £7.

Fell races for senior and junior runners in Warslow on 4 July 2026. The senior course is 10 km with 675 m ascent, limited to 150 entrants and held under Fell Runners Association licence number 2026 9716.

A 24 hour relay at Bramham Park in Leeds offering Solo, Pair and team entries on an 8km trail lap. The event includes camping, an Event Village with food vendors and a bar, plus charity entry options.

A 4.7 mile off road trail race through the Moss Valley with a 1.4 mile family fun run. The course runs across farmland and woodland, includes a small ford, and is taped and marshalled.

A low-key fell race held during the Oakworth gala with stalls and entertainment. The 9 km course includes steep climbs and tricky descents, is organised by Keighley & Craven AC, and carries a minimum age of 18.

Trail options from Bakewell across the Southern Peak District include 100 km, 50 km, 25 km and a 10 mile Bakewell option. The event features a signed route, GPS tracking, covered rest stops, medical support and camping facilities.
