Peak Raid Anytime Race 4 Hartington

Peak Raid Anytime Race 4 takes place in Hartington in the Peak District between 1 July and 27 September 2026. The event is part of a series of four MapRun-based score races held on footpaths, trails and areas of open access. Participants may run, jog or walk and may complete each race as many times as they wish at any time during the event window.

Each race uses a score format with a two hour time limit. Courses include 40 control points worth 20 points each. A penalty of minus 10 points applies for each minute late. Races can be completed in any order, but only runs finished by 27 September 2026 will contribute to the series result. The series result is the combined score from all four MapRun races.

Entries opened on 8 February 2026 and close on 20 September 2026. Age categories are Adult (16 years or older) and Under 16 (up to 15 years old). Entry fees are Adult £8.00 and Under 16 £4.00. At the time of listing there are 105 participants entered.

Competitors may purchase professionally printed waterproof maps for £4.00 each including postage. A map PDF is also made available for competitors to print their own map. The event is organised by Explorer Events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
