Trail Running calendar near Holdgate 2026-2027

Festive trail runs at Wyre Forest on 13 December 2026 feature a family 1 Mile plus 5km and 10km trail races in ancient oak woodland, with canicross options for the 5km and 10km and seasonal finisher medals and treats.

The 12 Drummers Drumming Run is a festive Christmas series event. Choose from 5k to Ultra distances on a tough off road course at Pengethley Manor. A virtual run option is also available.

Timed laps along the River Mersey in Chorlton Water Park on a 5.3 km out and back course, with a seven hour limit and a vegetarian aid station. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and the event supports Destitute Animals Shelter, Bolton.
