Brynkinalt Running Festival

The Brynkinalt Running Festival is a two day trail event held on the private Brynkinalt Estate at Brynkinalt Hall in Wrexham LL14 5NS. The festival includes canicross on Saturday and standard trail running on Sunday. The route is closed to the public outside the event.

Distances offered:

  • 5k (approx) Minimum age 12 years
  • 10k (approx) Minimum age 16 years

Routes use a mix of fast footpaths, grassed sections and small stoney areas, with some climbs and estate views. The start and finish are located a short walk from the parking area in front of the hall. One water station is provided approximately halfway around the 10k route, and water is available by the start and finish; participants are encouraged to bring a suitable bottle to run with.

Parking is at Brynkinalt Estate, Chirk, Trevor Road LL14 5HA with a £3 parking fee. Entrants are asked to arrive via the centre of Chirk on Trevor Road and not via the trade entrance at the back.

Finishers receive a medal and event goodies. Awards are given to the top three female and top three male at each distance. The event names The Movement Centre as a charity partner. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
