Brynkinalt Running Festival : Wrexham 5k & 10k Trail

The event takes place on the private Brynkinalt Estate on the edge of Wrexham, with Race HQ in front of Brynkinalt Hall. The festival runs across a weekend and features canicross on Saturday and standard trail running on Sunday.

Distances offered:

  • 5k (approx)
  • 10k (approx)

Routes stay entirely within the estate and are not open to the public outside event times. The course combines fast footpaths, grass sections and small stoney areas, and includes climbs with estate views. Organisers provide one water station roughly halfway around the 10k and water by the start and finish area. Runners receive a medal and additional goodies at the finish.

Practical details include a parking area on Trevor Road at Brynkinalt Estate with a small parking fee. Minimum ages are 12 years for the 5k and 16 years for the 10k. Awards are presented to the top three female and top three male finishers at each distance. The Movement Centre is listed as a charity partner for the event.

The event information notes that the estate is private land and asks participants to remain within the designated runner areas in front of the hall. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
