The Winter GMU (7 March 2026)
The Winter Green Man Ultra is offered in two distances on a shared course around the City of Bristol, following the Community Forest Path. The winter event runs the course in an anti-clockwise direction. The event page lists Ultra Running Limited and Every Mile Counts Ltd as organisers. The race uses chip timing, four staffed checkpoints for the 45 mile route, and provides food and drink at checkpoints plus hot food at the finish. Finishers receive a bespoke T-shirt and medal; a signed certificate is issued for those who complete within the stated time limit. The race is cup-free so competitors must carry a reusable cup. Avon Wildlife Trust is the race-nominated charity.
