A 24 mile LDWA challenge in the Hambleton Hills on 7 November 2026, with about 3,500 ft of ascent and a ten hour time limit. The route circles Kilburn via Cold Kirby, Hawnby and Gormire Lake and features staffed checkpoints.

A 25-mile White Peak circuit from Biggin Village Hall visiting six dales and several villages, with three checkpoints offering snacks and drinks and a meal at the finish. Entry is limited to 200 and entries run 1 August to 3 November 2026.

A friendly local trail race near the Lake District covering about 8 miles of mixed terrain, with local prizes and proceeds supporting community projects.

Soyland Moor is a 13.5 mile fell race around Cragg Vale with about 1300 ft of ascent, visiting Stoodley Pike and the Pennine Way. Full FRA kit is required, entries are accepted online or on the day, minimum age 17.

Join Leg It Round Lathkil on 8 November 2026 for a scenic 11.5 km fell race in the Peak District with 290 m of climb from Lathkil Hotel near Bakewell. Entry on the day and all proceeds go to Children in Need; wash shoes for biosecurity.

Tackle the Wadsworth Half Trog, a rugged 9.3 mile course with about 1,400 ft of climbing across muddy moorland and partly flagged routes. Brilliant for fell runners who like a compact, challenging off road outing on 8 November 2026.

Trail races at Rother Valley Country Park near Sheffield offering 5km, 10km and a Half Marathon on lakeside and woodland trails. Live chip timing, bespoke finisher medal, merchandise and a post race snack and drink provided.

Run Like a Haggis MapRun Navigation in St John's Chapel on 8 November 2026 is a MapRun navigation event at Barrington Hall in the North Pennines. Entry is available by pre entry or on the day and the event has FRA permit and insurance.

A 15.7 km fell race around the Clwydian Hills with 950 m of ascent. The route requires navigation and prior fell-running experience; toilets and refreshments are provided and team entry has no limit on runners.

Trail runs at Raby Castle on Remembrance Sunday with 5km and 10km routes through the estate, dog-friendly provisions and a family Wolfpack Run, plus timed results and a goodie bag for participants.

Timed laps on a 5.3 km riverside course at Chorlton Water Park, with a seven hour limit and a Lucky Dip of classic Phoenix medals.

Trail races around the Wharfedale hills near Otley, Ilkley and Guiseley offering half marathon, 20 mile and 35 mile options with mandatory safety kit and trackers.

Trail running in Kirkstall with 5K, 10K and half marathon options along the Leeds/Liverpool Canal, licensed under UKA with post-race food and a jumble medal.

A circular 36 mile ultra around the Wirral Peninsula with about 812 ft of ascent, mixed terrain and five food and water stations. The route is tracked, largely waymarked and starts and finishes at Hooton Memorial Hall.

Backyard ultra at Hunters Greave where runners repeat a 4.167 mile loop each hour until only one completes a lap alone.

A 40 mile trail ultramarathon starting and finishing in Lymm that circumnavigates Warrington on tracks, paths and lanes. The 2026 race is on 14 November with solo, pair and four person relay entry options.

A 16.1 km fell race around Penmaenmawr with about 594 m of ascent, based at Capelulo Village Hall. The route is partially marked and requires navigation; entry is online with a £12 fee.

A winter fundraising fell race around Bamford on 14 November 2026 offering two routes across Bamford Moor, Bamford Edge and Win Hill.
