TRAILDOG Raby Castle Remembrance Run

The event takes place at Raby Castle on Sunday 8 November and offers trail running through the Raby Estate, including the deer park, woods and estate land. The main event has two distance options:

  • 10 km
  • 5 km

Participants may run, walk or take part with one or two dogs. Dogs receive a poppy at registration to wear on their harness. Entry for the main event is £30 plus a processing fee and includes a personalised run number, a goodie bag with a wooden finishers medal, dog treats and a human treat, event photography, an alcoholic-free beer product and entry to the Raby Estate after the event.

Both courses are fully way marked and marshalled and include a hydration station for humans and dogs. The event is timed; finishers receive an accurate time and an SMS result. There is an option to take part virtually; virtual entrants receive their goodie bag by post.

A separate TRAILDOG Family Wolfpack Run is available for children up to 16 years old. Family run entry is £10 per child and includes entry for one accompanying adult; children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult. The event is trail one of five in The Collective, with points awarded to the top 10 male and female finishers toward an overall season league.
