This is a fell race in the Peak District, England, based at the Village Hall, Meerbrook, Leek (grid reference 987608). The course distance is 24.1 km (15 miles) with a total climb of 1128 m (3701 ft). The event is listed in category BL and notes skills codes ER, PM, LK. The minimum age for entry is 18. Entry, teams and logistics

Entry is available on the day; there is no pre-entry. The on-day fee is £15 and the entry fee includes a hot meal and drinks. Teams are allowed in groups of three. The race holds a permit and associated UK Athletics insurance from the FRA.

Parking near the village hall is limited. Overflow parking is at Tittesworth Reservoir pay-and-display car park. There is a cut-off time of 2 hours 5 minutes at the foot of Shutlingsloe; runners can still complete the route after this cut-off but will be excluded from the climb of Shutlingsloe.
