Six Dales Circuit

The Six Dales Circuit is a 25 mile circular route in the White Peak that starts and finishes at Biggin Village Hall (SK17 0DL). The route passes through Biggin Dale, Wolfscote Dale, Beresford Dale, Hartington, Monyash, Lathkill Dale, Bradford Dale, Middleton and Long Dale. The event includes a route description, snacks and drinks at three checkpoints, a meal at the finish and a finishing certificate.

The event has an entry limit of 200 and a waiting list operates if the event fills. Entry fees are listed for LDWA members and non-members. There is a time limit of ten hours and retirements are accepted only at checkpoints. Recommended map and equipment include White Peak OL24, waterproofs, compass, route description, mug, whistle and torch. Entrants must use the free car park provided as directed by event marshals and must not park on roads or verges. Dogs are permitted on short leads but are not allowed inside village halls; owners must confirm they have pet owner’s liability insurance and are responsible for any damage caused.
