Trail Running calendar near Guisborough 2026-2027

Two circular off-road races around Kirkby Fleetham on 9 June 2026, with 5 km and 10 km courses that are mostly flat and fully waymarked. Entries run from 6 March to 7 June; fees are £10 and £15 and both races are open to ages 16 and above.

A self-navigated fell run and challenge walk in Swaledale on 13 June 2026. The 24 mile course has a ten hour time limit, minimum age 14 and no dogs are allowed.

A **20 km** fell event near Kirkby Stephen with 730 m of ascent, passing High Pike and the Nine Standards. The mass start welcomes walkers and runners, and the course is waymarked with checkpoints.

A muddy 5k obstacle course at Thornes Park on 13 June 2026 that raises funds for Cancer Research UK. The uneven, mixed-surface route includes obstacles and hills; participants must be 13 or older and a minimum fundraising target applies.

A 5K colour run in Silsden, West Yorkshire raising funds for Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice. The undulating three lap, cross country route features seven paint stations, obstacles, a paint bag for each entrant and a finishers medal.

Trail races around Roche Abbey in South Yorkshire on mixed terrain with lapped courses from a single 6.7 mile lap up to a full marathon. Finishers receive a bespoke medal, cake and a pub meal.

Trail races from Chop Gate with three distances : Marathon (28), Half 16.5 and 10k 9.5. Entries limited to 330, mandatory safety kit is required and competitors must print route maps and navigate themselves.

Tackle Knowl Hill near Rochdale in this 6 mile fell race with 396 m of climb across the South West Pennines. Open to adults, it is the final day of a three day series with prizes and finisher shirts for series completers.

Tebay Fell Race in the Lake District is a thrilling 13 km course with 914 m of climb across classic fell country, perfect for strong, adventurous runners. Entry on the day with showers and food at the Tebay Sports Social and Railway Club.

Join a challenging 5.3 km fell race in the South West Pennines from Whitworth Scout Hut on Wed 17 Jun 2026, with 360 m of climb. Entry on the day is £5 and all finishers get a beer, with prizes for the first three men and first three ladies..

A trail event at Forcett Park offering 5 km and 10 km looped courses through pasture, tracks and woodland with historic features along the route. Onsite parking, marked course and a water station for the 10 km.

An evening pop up Summer Series event at Cromwell Bottom Nature Reserve offering 5k and 10k routes. Entry can be paid online or on the day and all finishers receive a medal, food, a drink and a sweetie bag.
