The Tebay Fell Race is a challenging 13km (8.1 miles) fell running event with 914m (2999’) of ascent, held in the scenic Howgills terrain near Tebay, Cumbria. It features mostly runnable grassy paths with some boggy sections and finishes with a steep climb up Blease Fell, followed by a long descent back to the start. The race is an AM category event under the Fell Runners’ Association rules and serves as a counter in the 2025 English Senior and Junior Fell Running Championships. Suitable for experienced fell runners, it offers a well-marked course with mandatory safety kit requirements. Proceeds support local community groups and mountain rescue.
