Entry, rules and course notes

Pre-entry is required; there is no entry on the day. Pre-entry fees are £5 for members and £6 for non-members. Car parking is on the field near Quernmore crossroads as part of Quernmore Sports (entry to the Showfield is £2.50). Teams are allowed, in teams of three. The race has a permit and associated UK Athletics insurance from the FRA. FRA kit is required. Organisers state there is no access to farmland until race day and no dogs are allowed on the race route. A fell-gate checkpoint will apply a cut-off of 30 to 40 minutes; the exact cut-off will be set according to the weather on the day. Lakeland Paws returns to Grizedale Forest for a runnable trail event on wide forest paths. Choose between a 10k or 6k route, both chip-timed and dog-friendly. This event is part of the series' fourth season.

Off-road event near Preston offering 10k and 11 mile routes across tracks and fields around Caldervale and the base of Beacon Fell country park. The 11 mile has a three hour cutoff and maps with three checkpoints are provided.

A 5-mile winter fell race from Bleasdale Parish Hall with 1,250 ft of ascent, exposed high ground to 500 m, and mandatory full kit including whistle. Entry was by pre-entry with a 100 runner limit and the event is now full.

Two route options across the Yorkshire Dales from Cracoe Village Hall for walkers and runners, with staffed checkpoints and a finish meal. Entries are limited to 125 and a waiting list operates when the event fills.
