The Ulverston Fell Race is a short fell event held on farmland at Beckside Farm, Old Hall Road, Ulverston LA12 7PE. The course starts from the field adjacent to the farm, follows the beck, then climbs to the top of Flan Fell where the Under 14 race turns. Older junior categories and seniors follow a longer line that drops to a field corner, returns over Flan Fell and then back to the finish.

Age categories include Under 9, Under 12, Under 14, Under 17 and Seniors. The minimum age on the day is 6. Categories for juniors are based on age at 1 May. Entry is available on the day; pre-entry is not offered. Entry fees given on the event page are £5 for seniors and £2 for junior categories. Team entries are not permitted.
