The Langstrath Fell Race takes place on Wednesday 17 June 2026 at Langstrath Country Inn, Stonethwaite, Borrowdale, CA12 5XG. The course distance is 7.5 km with 430 m of climb. Course and kit

The race starts outside the Langstrath Country Inn. Much of the route is free choice but a marked green route is shown as easiest to follow. A compulsory flagged section passes through a SSSI and must be followed. The route passes Stonethwaite Bridge, climbs to open fell, goes to Dock Tarn, then follows tracks to Watendlath and back via Rosthwaite to the finish by the village street. The race organiser may set kit requirements; competitors should be prepared to carry full FRA kit (waterproof whole-body cover with hood, hat, gloves, map, compass, whistle and emergency food) if required.
