The Pooley Bridge Wild Trail Runs take place on Saturday 13 June 2026 in Pooley Bridge, at the northern tip of Ullswater in the Lake District. The event offers two trail race distances and provides downloadable route maps; routes are subject to change and final routes will be emailed before the event. Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North.

Entry prices listed on the organiser page are: Half Marathon £32 and 10km £27 (additional fee applies). T-shirt options are available as extras; a custom event t-shirt is listed at £12, and combined entry-with-t-shirt prices are shown for each distance. Parking is available on-site for £5.00. The event is Cani-Cross friendly: participants may run with one well-controlled dog; dogs must wear an appropriate harness and remain on a lead. Run into the night on an unmarked rough route to Chapelfell Top in the Silent Night Race. This 6.6 km out and back with 370 m of climb requires navigation, strict kit and pre entry, making it a real test for experienced fell runners.

On 20 December take on the Beyond the Lune Skyline Winter Ultra, a 65 km loop from Kirkby Lonsdale climbing seven summits and finishing with beer or mulled wine and sourdough pizza. Tough, scenic and hugely satisfying.

Join Beyond the Lune Winter Editions for festive trail runs from The Royal Barn in Kirkby Lonsdale, with 5 km, 10 km and 20 km routes over rivers, footpaths and fells. Hot drinks, treats and a finisher beer add extra festive cheer.

Take on a classic Lake District fell around Latrigg on a flagged 8 km / 5 miles course with 460 m of climb and stunning views. Starts and finishes at Fitz Park Pavilion, Keswick, and pre entry via SiEntries is required.
