Kettlewell Trail Half

The Kettlewell Trail Half is a trail half marathon held at the car park field at Hawkswick cote in Kettlewell, in the Yorkshire Dales. The route features approximately 900 m of ascent with three steep climbs and accompanying descents, and offers views over the Wharfedale valley. The course runs across riverside footpaths and rolling moorland and is partially way marked.

Facilities and inclusions listed for the event are drinks stations supplying water and juice, a post race meal such as pie or soup, a bottle of beer, Due North merchandise and sponsor goodies. Free car parking and toilets in the car park are provided. The event is a qualifier for the Yorkshire Three Peaks fell race.

Entry options include a UKA or TRA affiliated fee and an unaffiliated fee, with a discount available when entering multiple events in the series. Minimum age to participate is 17. Minimum kit requirements include a waterproof jacket, hat and gloves, a cup or bottle for drinks stations, and a mobile phone with the race day emergency number stored and a location app such as OS Locate.
