Kirkby Fleetham Trail Race

The Kirkby Fleetham Trail Race offers off road trail running around Kirkby Fleetham, starting and finishing close to the village hall on The Green. The event takes place on circular routes that pass through fields, farms and forestry, and the courses are fully waymarked and easy to navigate. The terrain is multi‑terrain and mostly flat.

Two distances are provided:

  • 5km
  • 10km

The 5km route starts a short walk from the 10km start and joins the main course in a wooded section; both finishes are at the village hall. Entry is open to participants aged 16 and above. Entry fees listed for 2026 are £10 for the 5km and £15 for the 10km. Entries are open from Friday 6 March 2026 and close on Sunday 7 June 2026. Prizes are awarded to the first three men and first three women in each race, and other finishers receive a small gift.

Refreshments including tea, coffee and a licensed bar will be available at the village hall. Funds raised from the event support the Kirkby Fleetham Feast. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
