The DalesRunner 30 is a circular, fully marked race held on Saturday 4 July 2026. It starts and finishes at Usha Gap Campsite in Muker and is organised by DalesRunner. Distance:

Course

The route ascends almost 3,000 ft from Swaledale up to the Tan Hill Inn (described in the source as Great Britain’s highest pub). The course follows the Coast to Coast path to the hamlet of Ravenseat, crosses remote moorland to Tan Hill Inn, then uses a section of the Pennine Way back toward Swaledale. The route includes an ascent of Swinner Gill, moorland-track descents, and finishes through Muker’s Swaledale flower meadows.

Surface and services

Surfaces include grassy trods, slabbed sections, hard-packed footpath, shooters track and a few short road sections. The event provides fully stocked aid stations with vegan and gluten-free options, GPX and a map, car parking, and a hot meal and drinks for finishers. The event offers an option to purchase XCover for possible refund if unable to attend.

Entries and requirements
