DalesRunner 30

The DalesRunner 30 is a circular running event covering a distance of 30 km. The course starts and finishes at the Usha Gap Campsite in Muker, taking participants through various landscapes in Swaledale. The route features a total ascent of approximately 3,000 feet.

The fully marked course utilizes a variety of terrain, including grassy trods, slabbed sections, hard-packed footpaths, shooters tracks, and short road sections. Participants travel along the Coast to Coast path to the hamlet of Ravenseat before crossing remote moorland to reach the Tan Hill Inn. The return journey follows a section of the Pennine Way back toward Swaledale, followed by an ascent of Swinner Gill. The final segment includes moorland tracks and a path through the Swaledale flower meadows in Muker.
