Knowl Hill is a fell race on Sun 14 Jun 2026 in the South/West Pennines near Norden, Rochdale. The course distance is 9.7 km / 6 miles with 396 m / 1299 ft of ascent.

Registration and race HQ are at Norden Bowling Club, Trinity Street, Norden, Rochdale OL12 7RD. The start is about 500 m from registration and is sign posted; allow an extra 15 minutes to walk to the start.

The event is for over 18s only. Entry is available as pre-entry and on the day. Pre-entry fees are £6 for members and £8 for non-members. Entry on the day fees are £8 for members and £10 for non-members.

Teams are allowed; the first three team members count for team scoring with separate men and women teams. There are no junior races. The race has a Permit and associated UK Athletics insurance from the FRA.

This race is the final day of a three-day series that includes a 6 mile road race on Fri 12 and a 6 mile trail race on Sat 13. T shirts are provided for pre-entries covering all three days. Prizes are awarded for each individual race and for the overall three-day winners, male and female.

A short, club organised fell race on 24 June 2026 in Brushes Clough Country Park near Shaw, Oldham. The **6.1 km** course crosses moorland and forest trails, requires specific safety kit and navigational awareness, and is pre entry only.

A local fell race in the South/West Pennines, covering 10.5 km with 370 m of climb and views of Hameldon Hill and Mitchell House reservoir. Entry fees differ for affiliated and unattached runners and the event is based at Accrington Cricket..

A 6 mile fell race held during the Whaley Bridge Carnival on the final Saturday in June, covering about 5.8 miles with 274 m of climb. The event includes age group and team prizes and donates profits to local charities.

A lapped running event at Burrs Country Park supporting The Sunnywood Project. Runners may complete as many 3.28 miles laps as they wish within a seven hour limit; aid station, medal options, toilets and parking on site.
