North Star Ultra

The North Star Ultra is a multi-leg endurance event held from 13th to 14th June 2026, organised by Cold Brew Events Ltd. The course starts from Kielder Castle and is made up of six legs: an initial North leg, four middle legs (East, South East, South West and West) that may be completed in any order, and a final North leg repeated as the last leg. The total route for each team is 200 miles of trail.

Each leg is an out-and-back route with a dedicated indoor turnaround location and team to assist at the turnaround point, except the North leg which is outdoors for its whole length. Participants are tracked throughout the course and support teams are on standby to assist if needed. For results and rankings, the furthest distance covered by a team determines placement.

Entry categories are Solo, Pair and Quad, with entry fees listed per team and an additional booking fee. The minimum age to enter is 18 on the event date. Entries open on 16th December 2025 and close on 9th June 2026. The event offers an option to purchase XCover for potential refunds under qualifying unforeseen circumstances.

Additional course details, specific leg distances and logistical information are provided by the organiser. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
