Trail Running calendar near Grizedale 2026-2027

A trail 5k at Clowbridge Reservoir held as part of a three race series on 3, 10 and 17 September 2026. The route is two anti clockwise laps from Rossendale Valley Sailing Club and is open to ages 11 and over.

A timed, lap-based event on a flat 5.3 km riverside circuit in Chorlton Water Park offering distances from 5 km up to ultra within a seven hour limit, with an all-day vegetarian aid station and a bespoke finisher's medal.

An 11th edition trail ultra based in Hawes, North Yorkshire, featuring a 70 km route over the three peaks with an optional +30 km extension, on course support, cutoffs and a mandatory minimum kit list.

A trail half marathon at Lakeland Maze Farm Park on Saturday 19th September 2026, finishing through the maze. Chip timing, aid stations, on-site parking and a cafe. Entry requires participants to be 18 or older and costs £35.

Trail runs at Raby Castle offer 5 km, 10 km and half marathon routes through parkland with woodland and lakes, live chip timing, on-site parking and finisher medals.

Trail half marathon and 10k in Bronte Country near Haworth, organised by Sue Ryder. Entry fees start at £15; finishers receive pie and peas and a race memento.

A weekend running event in Knaresborough on 20 September 2026 offering 10K and Half Marathon routes through scenic Yorkshire countryside. Finishers receive a jumble medal and hot food, with entry available online or on the day.

A licensed fell race at Orton C of E Primary School on 26 September 2026 featuring a 10 km course with 258 m of climb. Main entry fee is £10 and junior races for U10/12 and U14/16 have on day entry for £3.
