Phoenix: Manchester - Feisty and Fluffy Phoenix - The Sequel

This is a lapped running event at Burrs Country Park, Woodhill Road, Bury BL8 1DA. The course is mostly hard packed trail and riverside trail with approximately 187 ft of elevation per 3.28 miles (5.3 km). Participants may complete as many laps as they like within a seven hour time limit.

A limited edition yellow Phoenix soft toy will be given to the first 50 entries to match the Feisty Phoenix medal. All participants receive a free giveaway medal or memento. Entry fees listed include an affiliated price of £40.00 and an unaffiliated price of £42.00.

An aid station will be available throughout the event offering items such as crisps, pretzels, cookies, biscuits, bananas, squash, and water. Toilets and registration are located at The Sunnywood Hub. Public parking within Burrs Country Park is mostly free.

The organiser will donate £1 per entry to The Sunnywood Project. Distance restrictions apply to participants aged 20 or under under UK Athletics rules. A 50 mile supported trail race from Manchester to Liverpool along the Trans-Pennine Trail with six checkpoints, mandatory kit, live GPS tracking and a 14 hour cut off. Entrants must be 20 or older and have completed a marathon.
