Tatton Yule Yomp 10K - 6 December 2026

The event is organised by Run North West and takes place at Egerton Youth Club on Mereheath Lane with the course starting at Knutsford Gate to Tatton Park and finishing just outside Egerton Youth Club. It is a one-lap trail race held on the date above.

The 10 km course runs through and around Tatton Park and uses a mixture of surfaces including trail, grass, tarmac and gravel. The route features undulating terrain and the final 1 km is on fully closed roads returning to Egerton Youth Club. The race is licensed by The Trail Runners Association.

Entry is open to those aged 16 and over on race day. Standard fees are listed as £30 unattached and £28 attached with a booking fee of £1; a technical finisher T-shirt is offered for £9.95. The entry fee includes a bespoke medal. UK Athletics members receive a £2 discount at registration.

The organiser publishes a race day booklet for entrants approximately two weeks before the event and offers advance race number collection from a Wilmslow store (SK9 5EB) with prior notification. Transfers to another runner are allowed at no cost. Refunds and deferrals are not offered and refunds are not available if the event is cancelled for weather reasons.

Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers by gun time, with veteran prizes posted based on chip time. There are equal prizes for male and female categories, veteran age groups from V35 to V90+ in five year increments, plus first U20. A prize is also awarded for best fancy dress. A 3 km or 5 km run at Bowdon Rugby Club with drinking stations every kilometre and a mix of inflatable and non inflatable obstacles. Drinks are included and only participants aged 18 or over may take part.

Three trail routes start at Bakewell Showground and explore varied Peak District terrain including moors, valleys and parts of the Pennine Way. The Half Marathon route includes outposts and does not allow dogs.

A timed track ultra at Woodbank Park where runners complete as many 400 m laps as possible within 6, 12 or 24 hour limits, with chip timing, an aid station and indoor facilities on site.

Trail races at Tatton Park on 31 May 2026 offer 5 km, 10 km and half marathon routes across grassland, woodlands and park paths. Live chip timing, on-site parking, and a medal plus refreshments for finishers.
