Tatton Yule Yomp 2026

Tatton Yule Yomp is a one-lap 10 km trail race through and around Tatton Park on 6 December 2026. The course starts at Knutsford Gate and finishes just outside Egerton Youth Club on Mereheath Lane, with the final 1 km on a fully closed road back to the finish. The terrain is undulating and includes trail, grass, tarmac and gravel; trail shoes are recommended.

The event is licensed by TRA and run under UKA Athletics rules. Chip timing is used and all finishers receive a bespoke medal; there is an optional commemorative technical finishers t-shirt and a post-race snack. Drinks are provided at the halfway point and the finish. Race facilities include baggage storage, first aid, toilets and bike storage at Egerton Youth/Football Club.

Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers based on gun times, with veteran prizes posted based on chip times. Veteran categories run from V35 to V85+ in five-year increments and there is a prize for first U20. A prize for best fancy dress is also awarded.

Entry fees are listed as £28 for club runners and £30 for non-club runners. The event postcode is WA16 6AE. Parking is available in Knutsford town centre on Sundays and the nearest train station, Knutsford, is about a one-mile walk from race HQ.

A Family Fun Run is offered separately; entries are £7.50, minimum age 4, and 100% of its proceeds go to the event charity MOVE. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
