Trail Running calendar near Duckington 2026-2027

A 10 km trail race through Stalybridge Country Park and local moorland. Finishers receive a local chip muffin voucher for completing this event organized by Crazy Legs Events.

A short but steep fell race at Padarn Lake in Llanberis over 3.1 km with 192 m climb. The event includes junior races, has a noted male and female course record, and serves as a warm down for the midweek series.

July 2026

Cragg Vale on 1 July 2026 is a 4 miles (6.4 km) fell race with 244 m of climb run from the village near Cragg Vale Church. Entry on the day is £8 cash and registration and refreshments are based at Cragg Church.

A mountain fell race on 1 July 2026 from Ribblehead to the top of Whernside. The 10.5 km route climbs about 468 m, follows the old hikers route and the Three Peaks walkers path back to The Station Inn.

Take on the Hope Wakes Fell Race on 1 July 2026: a scenic 9.5 km Peak District route with 458 m of climb, starting and finishing at Hope Sportsfield. On the day entry is £8 and all profits go to local charities.

Race 2 of the Bramhall Runners Foodbank series is a 5.5 km event through Happy Valley in Bramhall, with limited online entries and proceeds donated to Stockport Foodbank. UKA members receive a discount and series entries are available.

Peak Raid Anytime Race 4 in Hartington is a MapRun series of four two hour score races across Peak District paths. Runs may be completed at any time between 1 July and 27 September 2026 and series results combine scores from all four races.

A 4 miles hill race around Winster on 2 July 2026 through lanes, trails and fields with marshals and partial tape marking. Online pre-entry is £5, on the night entry is £8 and entries are limited to 200.

An approximately four mile multi terrain race on 2 July 2026, starting and finishing at Care & Repair on Rowley’s Drive in Shotton. Entry is £10 or £8 for affiliated club members and prizes are given across all age categories.

A guided trail running weekend in the Peak District with bunkhouse accommodation, a 23 mile Edale Skyline route and an optional 10 km loop the next day. The terrain is rugged and a good level of fitness is required.

A point to point half marathon along canal towpaths from Wolverhampton City Centre to Brindley Place in Birmingham. The race uses seeded time trial waves, includes a 360 metre tunnel and has floating drink stations every three miles.

A multi-distance trail event in the valley of Ironbridge on 4th July, with 8 Miles, 16 Miles and a full Marathon over mixed tracks and paths. Parking is available on site and all finishers receive bling.

Take on the Fellrunner at Heptonstall Festival, a scenic 9.5 km fell race with about 500 m of climb in the South West Pennines. Finish to live music, food stalls and a free pint; entry on the day £7.

Warslow Fell Race on 4 July 2026 features senior and junior fell races from Warslow Village Hall. The senior course is 10 km with 675 m ascent on steep, technical terrain and is licensed by the Fell Runners Association.

A 4.7 mile off road trail race through the Moss Valley with a 1.4 mile family fun run. The course runs across farmland and woodland, includes a small ford, and is taped and marshalled.

The CWM Elan Back Yard Ultra will take place in Rhayader on Saturday 4 July 2026. You can run 7 kilometers.

A low-key fell race at the Oakworth gala featuring a 9 km route with 250 m climb, stalls and children’s fun races. Entries cost £5 and the minimum age on race day is 18.

Trail options from Bakewell across the Southern Peak District include 100 km, 50 km, 25 km and a 10 mile Bakewell option. The event features a signed route, GPS tracking, covered rest stops, medical support and camping facilities.

A licensed, timed five mile trail race through Smalley, Mapperley and Shipley Country Park with water stations, a race village and prizes. A separate one mile colourful fun run on the event field provides a finisher medal and limited places..

Pretty Muddy 5k at Heaton Park on 4 July 2026 is an obstacle course event over grass, paths and woodland where participants aged 13 and over take part in staggered waves while fundraising for cancer research.
