An evening off road race around Darley Dale featuring forest trails, several climbs and a final rise to the Oker Trig Point. The marked course is 7.3 km with 240 m of ascent and has advance registration only.

Join Scarborough AC for an 8.6 mile fell race across the North York Moors, featuring 475 m of climbing and sweeping moorland views. Entry on the day makes this a great spontaneous stop in the Dave Parry Esk Valley summer series.

A trail half marathon of about 13.1 miles across the North York Moors, featuring forest tracks, heather clad moorland and repeated climbs of Roseberry Topping. Limited to 50 runners, with mandatory kit, marked route and a five hour cut off.

An approximate 5 mile undulating trail near Treeton Cricket & Football Pavilion organised by Rotherham Running Club on 18 August 2026, marshalled and with post-run refreshments. Entries open 1 June to 16 August; minimum age 16.

Challenge yourself on the Pilgrims Cross Fell Race across the West Pennine Moors, a scenic but tough 10.7 km with 390 m of climb. Entry is on the day only with a small fee, and the race features in the Rossendale midweek series.

A pop up summer running event in Bingley offering 5k and 10k races with on-the-day or online entry and post-race food, drink, a jumble medal and a sweetie bag for all runners.

Self-navigated trail races in the Peak District offering 41, 26.9 and 15.5 mile courses with large ascent, stocked checkpoints and a finisher medal. Courses start in Edale near the train station.

Summer Extravaganza offers five distances on a flat canal towpath near Kirkstall, Leeds. The event includes regular feed stations, marshals, a bespoke finisher medal and food options at the finish.

Phoenix Afterglow is the third event in Phoenix Running's 2026 Summer Series, featuring timed laps on a 5.3 km out and back course along the River Mersey. Participants have a seven hour limit and receive a finishers' medal.
