Trail Running calendar near Dartington Hall 2026-2027

A roughly 13(ish) mile TRA licensed trail race around Corfe Castle Common and the Purbeck coast on 06 September 2026. The event includes four water stations a 3 hour 30 minute cutoff and awards trophies plus a finisher t shirt.

Coastal running from Exeter to Babbacombe Downs with 50k, marathon and half marathon options; cupless format, marked coast path, cut-offs, and a bespoke medal plus a warm pasty at the finish.

A multi-duration trail event at Tehidy Woods on 12 September 2026, using a marked 4 mile loop. Runners choose from 3, 6, 9 or 12 hour formats and compete on a hilly, technical woodland course.

A 10 km fell race at Seatown and Chideock Hill on 13 September 2026 with about 570 m of climb. Entry is available beforehand or on the day for a £20 fee and the minimum age is 18.

A multi terrain 10K around Crediton with mostly off road footpaths and fields, water stations, medals and prizes, and a finish on the school field.

The The Salmon Run Ultra will take place in Exmouth on Saturday 19 September 2026.

A 23 mile trail race on the Quantock Hills that pits human runners against horses, with a Pegasus Challenge four person relay. The event is held in Over Stowey and organised by Equi-Librium Coaching and Therapy CIC.

A long running trail race in the Doone Valley, Exmoor covering about 16 km (10 miles) over scenic but hilly terrain. The 37th edition limits entries to 250, requires entrants to be at least 16 and uses chip timing.

A single loop 10K trail run at Woodbury Common on natural trails with climbs and stream crossings. All finishers receive medals and top male and female finishers receive prizes including a donated sports massage.

MacTuffX Exeter at Exeter Arena on 20 September 2026 combines ten functional Xercises with repeated runs across solo doubles and team formats. Entries are for ages 18 and over and a LITE weight option is available.

An approximately eight mile multi terrain race around Crooklets and Maer Down in Bude featuring coastal and countryside trails, water stations, and a charity donation to Bude Surf Life Saving Club. Fancy dress is encouraged.
