On a Plod MCR on 4 July at Steel Foundry CrossFit in Salford Quays is an inclusive backyard ultra on a 3 km loop. Participants may start anytime within a five hour window and run as many laps as they choose with live tracking and awards.

A 10 km (6 miles) fell race around Great Hucklow that crosses the Dark Peak and White Peak, run over varied upland terrain. The event is organised by local volunteers and finishers receive a flapjack at the finish.

A trail half marathon around Lyme Hall and the Gritstone Trail, with a fully marked route, two aid stations, electronic timing and parking included in the £36 fee. Finishers can choose a medal or a tree planting option.
