Trail Running calendar near Cholmondeley 2026-2027

A club-run fell event from Barley Village Hall featuring a senior course of 4.5 miles and 1500 ft ascent and junior races for U10 to U18 on private farmland. Entries are available on the day and results are published online.

A 32 mile urban loop from Baggeridge Country Park on 29 March 2026, offered as solo, pair or team of 4 relay. The mostly traffic-free route includes long tunnels, canal towpaths, three aid checkpoints and a GPX route file.

A guided recce of the Paddy Buckley leg from Ogwen Valley to Capel Curig across the Carneddau. The 16 km route gains 1,245 m and is led in small groups by Mountain Leader qualified runners who can offer route advice.

A 50 mile trail race on Good Friday 3 April 2026 from Manchester to Liverpool along the Trans-Pennine Trail. The event features six checkpoints, live GPS tracking, a 14 hour cut off and limited entry; 2026 places are sold out.

A women-only trail half marathon celebrating the April Pink Moon. The scenic out-and-back course traverses woodland and trails, finishing with a campfire celebration. The event supports a local Women's Aid charity.
