A summer ultra on the Community Forest Path near Bristol with a 45 mile full loop and a 30 mile partial loop. The event features four checkpoints, bespoke finisher medals, timed tracking from 2026 and a mandatory kit list.

A 7 hour time challenge at Dare Valley Country Park where runners pick their distance from a 3km minimum. The event features a cupcake magnet medal, a baking competition, aid tables with vegan options, and free parking.

Point-to-point mixed terrain running from Mayflower Park following the Old Way pilgrim trail, with 15 Mile and Marathon options. The route includes a short boat crossing of the Hamble River and passes several historic landmarks.

A children's fun run organised by Afan Valley Swimming Club on 23 August, covering approximately 1 mile of mixed grass and tarmac with uphill and downhill sections. Entry includes a finishers' medal and a bag of sweets.

A 10 mile trail race through Radnor forest in Mid Wales on 23 August 2026, held in aid of the Special Care Baby Unit in Hereford. The route reaches Black Mixen at 2130 ft and includes forestry roads, moorland and tree covered single track.

An urban to trail 8 mile loop from Bournemouth Square through Meyrick Park, fully signed with a midcourse aid station and modest elevation. A 10 week social training programme run by Sole Clinic supports runners preparing for the event.

Trail races on the private Newnham estate near Plymouth on 28 August 2026. Choose an eight mile two lap route or a four mile single lap; canicross entries welcome and proceeds support Bowel Cancer West.

Experience a point to point mountain ultra from the Black Mountains to Cardiff featuring scenic ridges and historic castles. Choose between 33 or 44 mile distances with indoor aid stations and self navigation along the Cambrian Way.

Trail races at Wimbleball Lake include 10K and 5K runs with canicross options. The event is part of a bank holiday sports festival and offers camping, parking, finishers medals, event photos, and chip timing.

Participants run a 4.167 mile circuit every hour on the hour and repeat as many laps as they can until one runner remains. Camping is included and entry proceeds support people living with bowel cancer and related research.

Train ing Challenge on 29 August 2026 in Bridestowe is an eight hour timed off road event on a former train line. Participants complete 5.3 km laps and may do multiple laps within the permitted time.

A chip timed, multi-terrain 10 km through Pershore and nearby countryside, finishing in Abbey Park with Pershore Abbey nearby. Entry is online, limited to 325 places and restricted to participants aged 18 and over.

A timed 8 hour event on 30 August 2026 in Bridestowe with flexible arrival under a TUGG system. Laps are 5.3 km on an old train line, places are limited to 70 and finishers receive a medal.

An eight hour timed out-and-back challenge on an old disused train line in Bridestowe on 31 August 2026, with **5.3 km** laps, a 70-person capacity and medals for finishers who complete their final lap within the time limit.

A 7 km fell race with 365 m of ascent in Machen on 31 August 2026. The route runs on steep, loose terrain so trail or fell shoes are recommended and entry is on the day with a £7 fee and age limit over 18.

September 2026

A coastal festival near Hope Cove, Devon combining trail races from 5k to ultra with swim runs, a sea swim, camping, family activities, forest school and evening music.

A **30 mile** ultra run from Studland Bay around the Isle of Purbeck with about 4600 ft elevation. The guided coastal route uses the Purbeck Way and South West Coast Path and passes Corfe Castle, Kimmeridge Bay, Swanage and Old Harry Rocks.

A new *15 mile* trail event in September 2026 on the Rhymney Valley Ridgeway Walk, with 2,267 ft of ascent, mostly off-road terrain, one fully stocked checkpoint and organised entry support from Rudry to Parc Penalta.

Test your endurance at a looped off road running event featuring 6, 12, and 24 hour challenges. Enjoy a community atmosphere with on site camping and options for solo runners or relay teams on a flat farm based course.

A fully supported cross-country challenge across Dartmoor offering 50 km and 30 km routes with staffed checkpoints, map and GPS support, and Mountain Leaders providing navigation and first aid.
