Trail Running calendar near Brixworth 2026-2027

Trail races at Watership Down feature marathon, half marathon and 10K single lap courses on mainly off road footpaths, reaching high points with county views. Events include chip timing, marshals, water stations and finishers medals.

Timed multi-distance event on a 5.3 km riverside loop in Walton on Thames with a 1.5 hour start window and a seven hour time limit, offering a finishers medal or a lower cost no medal entry.

Take on the Trevor Milner Riber Run on 16 June 2026 in Lea Green near Matlock for a scenic yet testing 6.8 km course in the Peak District with 305 m of climb. On the day entries available and juniors can join free in the main race.

A fund-raising fell race on 17 June 2026 near Castleton in the Peak District. The route is about 8.5 km with roughly 370 m ascent, run under FRA rules with mandatory kit and flagged, marshalled navigation.

A multi terrain 5 km race at Blackpit Farm near Silverstone featuring woodlands, lakeside lawns and farmland. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and free parking is available at Blackpit Brewery.

Tackle a scenic 7.3 km Peak District fell race with about 190 m of climb, sharp uphills, riverside running and a dramatic tunnel finish at Millers Dale. Pre entry only with chip timing makes this a fast, well organised challenge.

A London trail and ultra event on 20 June 2026 offering 55 km and 25 km Capital Ring routes. Fully waymarked routes include GPX files, feed stations, medical support and a finish in Richmond upon Thames.

Two point to point trail races along the Three Shires Way through rural and woodland terrain, offered over a 50 mile ultra and a marathon distance. Both races feature checkpoint support, GPX routes and licensed race management.

Malvern Midsummer Marathon on 20 June 2026 offers routed hill courses from Colwall Village Hall with 27 mile and 15 mile options, checkpoints with snacks, and a hot meal at the finish.

Join the Phoenix Hydra 75 Mile Ultra at Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking for a scenic 1 mile off road loop with chip timing and a staffed aid station. Distances run from 12 hour to 100 miles and all entrants receive a free memento.

Run the Maldon Ultras on 20 and 21 June 2026 in Maldon, with 100 mile, 50 mile and 30 mile lapped races across fields, woodland and vineyards with estuary views. Small fields and scenic off road laps make for a friendly yet fierce ultra.

Two trail routes follow the Mortimer Trail into Ludlow Castle, offering approximately 30 miles and 14 to 15 miles of mixed trail, field and road terrain with notable ridge sections and historic landscape features.

The NoMad Ultra will take place in Breaston on Saturday 20 June 2026. You can run between 50 and 50 miles.

A 21.2 km trail race across the National Trust's Dunstable Downs with about 450 m of ascent, waymarked routes and on course aid. Entry is limited to 300 runners with a 4 hour time limit.

Tackle scenic off road trails at The Martian Race on Horsell Common, with 2 km, 5 km, 10 km and 21 km options for all abilities. Volunteer run and charity focused, this popular event blends nature, challenge and community spirit.

A multi-terrain 10 km event at Twisted Tree Brewery on the private Tusmore Estate in Bicester, with standard and canicross 10 km options. Entry is £32 plus fees and entries close 17 June 2026; finishers receive a medal and a drink.

A circular cross-country event from Baldock offering **26**- and **18**-mile routes across Hertfordshire fields and woodland, with checkpoints, refreshments and route files provided before the event.

Three races at Colworth Estate in North Bedfordshire combine to marathon distance: a 5-mile family run, an 8.1-mile trail and a 13.1-mile half. The event lists free camping and on-site family entertainment.
