The Fyfield Footpath 5K & 10K

The Fyfield Footpath 5K & 10K is an off-road, timed running event set in the Essex countryside. The route runs on footpaths, is fully marshalled and marked, and has no road crossings. The course returns to the village hall where food and drink are sold and a winners podium is used.

Entries include a race number, the choice of a souvenir wicking T-shirt or the option to sponsor a tree planting, and there is an option to raise funds for a charity of the entrant’s choice. Canine entries and team entries are welcome. The event works with RaceCheck to collect participant feedback.

Distances offered:

  • 5 km
  • 10 km

Parking at Fyfield Village Hall is limited; participant parking is located a short 10 minute walk away. Cycle parking is widely available and noted as a warm up option. Free parking and a bag drop are provided. Accessible parking is available on request.

The event raises funds for the 1st Moreton and Fyfield Scout Group. In the past three years the Scout Group has planted more than 1,000 trees, with almost 200 of those funded through the event’s Trees not Tees scheme. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
