Chiltern Wonderland 50

The Chiltern Wonderland 50 is a single loop 50 mile race through the Chiltern Hills, starting and finishing in Goring on Thames, Oxfordshire. The route totals approximately 5,600 ft of climb and descent and covers mainly trail terrain with some road sections. The course is fully marked, navigation is not required, and the route includes villages, parkland and countryside features along the Chiltern Way and sections of the Thames Path and Ridgeway.

Runners are supported by five well stocked aid stations offering a range of nutrition including gels, electrolyte drinks, water, soft drinks, fruit, snacks and hot food and drink at the finish. Medical cover is provided with a static first aid team at the finish and roving medics on course. The race enforces a 13 hour overall cut off and additional cut offs at aid stations.

Entries are open on a first come, first served basis and applicants must meet a qualification standard of a completed marathon within that event’s cut off between 1 January 2021 and race day. Pacers and crew are not permitted and supporters are allowed only at specified locations. Mandatory kit must be carried at all times; missing required items may incur a one hour time penalty. A course map and downloadable GPX file are provided for the route. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
