Tackle the Famous Grouse Fell Race in Birch Vale on 29 Nov 2026, a spirited 8.4 km Peak District route with plenty of climb. Entry is on the day, register at the Sycamore Inn and enjoy results and prize giving at the pub.

Take on scenic undulating trails around Carsington Water with half marathon or 10k options. Enjoy marked kilometres, on course support, a themed medal and post race goodies after this festive December run.

Join the Sherwood Pines Festive Trail Runs on 13 December 2026, with a family 1 mile plus 5 km and 10 km woodland routes. Finishers get medals, treats and drinks, and dogs are welcome in the 5 km and 10 km events.

Salcey Forest Christmas Race offers flat but muddy tree lined trails for 5k and 10k plus a junior fun run. Seasonal fancy dress is encouraged with a best outfit prize, and proceeds support Shelter.

Celebrate New Year's Eve with the Wormstones fell race in the Peak District, an energetic 8 km with about 400 m of climb. Join at The Beehive in Glossop on 31 Dec 2026 for tough trails, great company and curry after the run.
