World's Toughest Mudder 2026

World's Toughest Mudder is a 24-hour obstacle course event held at Belvoir Castle in Lincolnshire, UK. Participants compete on a 5-mile loop circuit for an entire day and night. The course features a variety of terrain including rural climbs and a series of obstacles that are updated annually.

Athletes can participate in several event categories:

  • Individual Participant
  • 4-Person Team Relay

The obstacle gauntlet includes reimagined classics and new challenges. Specific obstacles mentioned for the event include Arctic Enema, a 34-degree ice pit; Everest, a 13-foot greased quarterpipe; and Kiss of Mud, which requires crawling under barbed wire through mud.

The venue includes a dedicated pit area featuring reserved campsites, food trucks, and a race center for participants and their support crews. All finishers receive an event bib, a medal, and a finisher headband. A post-event brunch and awards ceremony are held on the Monday following the competition. The event also offers an Adaptive Athlete Programme to assist participants in overcoming course challenges. Qualifications for contender status and specific competition rules apply to those seeking podium positions or age group prizes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
