Hurricane Creek offers a half marathon, 5 mile and 5k around Joseph City Park with an out and back, hilly course rising from about 4,200 to 5,100 feet. The event includes a kids mile, packet pickup, awards and finisher medals.

June 2026

Scenic 5K and 10K runs along Columbia River trails in Umatilla on June 13, 2026 that support the Providence Cancer Institute, with a community-minded post-race celebration featuring music, vendors, family activities, and finisher medals.

A community 10k on Moscow Mountain via the Headwaters Trailhead, just over 5 miles with about 700 ft of climbing. The run is free with donations welcome, followed later by Camp Moscowanna, a summer camp themed block party in downtown Moscow..

A trail running festival at Jasper Mountain Reserve offering a 4-person 52.4-mile relay, a 26.2-mile marathon, a 13.1-mile half, and a 4.4-mile family run on single-track loops, with on-site camping and limited on-course aid.

A point to point half marathon from Cove to Union on mostly gravel roads with about 1,000 feet of elevation gain. Aid stations are at miles 4, 7, and 11, restrooms are limited at the start and there is no shuttle back.

July 2026

A point-to-point event in Lostine, Oregon offering 10K, 5K and 1 mile options along the Lostine River, organized by the Rotary Club with proceeds supporting youth programs and scholarships.

A 10 km solo and 10 km relay in Moscow, ID with six loops and a box of six donuts per team; runners eat one donut before each loop on PCEI trails. Leave no trace rules apply and registration closes July 9.

August 2026

A six person relay near La Grande, Oregon covering about 80.6 miles with roughly 6,000 feet of climbing. The course follows old Highway 244, includes long gravel mountain road sections and finishes with a trail leg at a ski resort.

Part of the Palouse Road Runners summer series, the Warnick Trailhead 10k is an approximately 6.2 mile trail loop on Moscow Mountain with over 800 feet of climbing; results appear on UltraSignup.

A muddy mix of cross country running and obstacles in Lewiston on August 29, 2026. The event can be run competitively or enjoyed as a casual mud run and includes a Mini-Mudder for children 10 and under.

September 2026

Run through the scenic gravel roads of Jump off Joe Mountain near Kennewick. Choose from marathon, half marathon, or 10k distances and enjoy summit views in this low key community event.

A backyard ultra in Richland where runners repeat a 4.16667 mile loop each hour until one person completes a final solo lap. Runners who reach 100 miles receive a custom belt buckle.

October 2026

Moscow Mountain Madness invites trail lovers to tackle 5 mile, half marathon or 50k courses across technical single track and forest scenery. Tough terrain, aid stations and authentic backcountry vibes make it a memorable mountain run.

Chamna Chase in Chamna Natural Preserve, Richland WA on October 24, 2026 offers 6K, 10K and a half marathon on mostly dirt trails. Halloween costumes are encouraged and race shirts can be ordered by September 15.

December 2026

An Everesting-style run at Badger Mountain Westgate Trailhead in Richland, WA, on a 0.35 mile loop with 89 m gain per lap. Multiple lap targets correspond to mountain-equivalent elevations; awards and on-site food are provided.

January 2027

Experience winter trail running on the woodchip and dirt paths of the Big Cross facility in Pasco. Choose between the 2.5 mile or 5 mile distances and receive a specialized runners belt for participating.
