Participants in the Climb 89 trail run challenge at Badger Mountain Westgate Trailhead in Richland, WA have the option to complete 100 laps of a 0.35-mile course, each lap featuring an 89-meter elevation gain, to mimic the height of Mt. Everest. There are also shorter options available for those who prefer not to complete the full challenge.

Finisher awards will be distributed based on the number of laps completed, with different categories representing various mountain heights. The event takes place over 32 hours, with multiple start times available, and food and snacks will be provided throughout.
