Climb 89
Climb 89 is an Everesting hill repeat event held in Richland, WA on December 4-5, 2026. The course runs up the west side of Badger Mountain from the Badger Mountain Westgate Trailhead (46.242357, -119.342787). The one-way route measures 0.35 mile with 89 meters (292 feet) of elevation gain and an average grade of 16 percent. Terrain is a mix of dirt and rocks and can be uneven in places.
Participants repeat the out-and-back segment as many times as they can within the event timeframe. Lap counting uses barcode scanners; each participant receives a lanyard badge with a barcode and may also use the barcode on their bib. The course is established as a Strava segment named Climb 89 (segment 36079116) so a single recorded activity with 100 repeats can qualify as an Everesting activity.
