Event Overview

Climb 89 is an Everesting run challenge. The event offers five shorter options for participants not aiming for the full Everest elevation. The course is a 0.35-mile (one-way) loop with an 89-meter (292-foot) elevation gain per lap. The course closes at 4 PM on Saturday, December 5th.

Distances and Awards

Participants choose their start time: Friday at 8 AM, Friday at 4 PM, or Saturday at 8 AM. Finisher awards are distributed based on the number of laps completed, corresponding to mountain elevations:

  • 100 laps (Mt. Everest)
  • 85 laps (Annapurna III)
  • 70 laps (Denali)
  • 50 laps (Mt. Rainier)
  • 29 laps (Mt. St. Helens)
  • 13 laps (Rattlesnake Mountain)
