Chamna Chase takes place in Richland, Washington at the Chamna Natural Preserve. The event offers three distances: a half marathon, 10K, and 6K. The course features dirt trails with occasional rocks, a double out-and-back for the half with a middle loop, and the 10K following the initial out-and-back plus loop; the 6K forms a large loop.
Expect a festive, family-friendly atmosphere with Halloween costumes encouraged and prizes for best costumes. Race shirts available for purchase (order by Sept 15). Afterward, awards, snacks, sponsor prizes, and post-race cheer sessions.
Dogs on leash are welcome. Fluorescent-tape course marking and maps will be emailed to entrants closer to race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
