Chamna Chase

This race takes place in the Chamna Natural Preserve in Richland, WA, at 1200 Carrier Rd. The event includes multiple distances and is presented as a family-friendly gathering with post-race refreshments and awards for entrants.

Costumes are strongly encouraged and prizes may be awarded for the best costumes. Race T-shirts are available for purchase; ordering by September 15 ensures time for printing. Special prizes from sponsors will also be given out. Dogs are welcome on leash. After the race there are snacks and awards and participants can remain to cheer and congratulate finishers.

Course details are provided to entrants before the event. The half marathon uses a double out and back layout with a loop in the middle. The 10K follows the first out and back plus the loop. The 6K is a larger loop. Routes use as much dirt trail as possible with some rocky sections, and the half marathon and 10K include some pavement.
